Dental Implants

Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. A dental implant is a  titanium post which is placed into the jaw bone. The bone seamlessly integrates with the implant, replicating the shape and function of a natural tooth root.

After a healing period, a dental crown is screwed into the top of the dental implant.

Advantages of Dental Implants

  • They do not rely on adjacent teeth to replace missing teeth (like a dental bridge).
  • They most closely resemble the shape and function of a natural tooth.
